Same-Day Care: How Technology is Revolutionizing Restorative Dentistry

Same-Day Dental Care Can Change Your Smile in a Single Visit

A day can make a world of difference when it comes to restorative dentistry. Did you know that many types of dental work can be performed on a same-day basis? If you're someone who has dealt with long waits for dental crowns or bridges in the past, this may be completely new to you. The once tedious process of showing up for multiple appointments, dealing with messy impressions, and struggling through life with temporary restorations doesn't have to be part of your dental restoration story this time around.

At Alliance Dental Care, we utilize the latest advancements in dental technology to offer a better experience. Discover the comfort and ease of same-day restorative dentistry. We can offer cutting-edge options for everything from a chipped tooth to a full crown. Learn more!

Restorative Dentistry Basics

While the hope is that none of us need restorative dentistry services, the reality is that most will at some point. This branch of dentistry is focused on repairing or replacing damaged teeth following extreme decay or injury. In addition to removing the visual problems caused by tooth issues, restorative dentistry is here to make sure that you can laugh, chew, and speak like new. The most common procedures in restorative dentistry include dental crowns, bridges, fillings, root canals, and dental implants. Same-day technology has allowed us to go from restoring a smile over the course of several weeks or months to getting you back to smiling in just a few hours.

Technology and Restorative Dentistry

One of the most arduous tasks involved with restorative dentistry in the past was the "tray" process. Dental offices used sticky, gooey trays to create molds for decades. Today, we use digital scanning to get an accurate 3D image of your teeth. We have also pivoted to in-office milling for crowns. If you've had a crown done in the past, you may remember that your dental office sent away for a fabricated crown. This extended the process by weeks. With the help of CAD/CAM technology, we can now design and fabricate your new crown in our office while you wait. In addition to speeding up the process, this also means you don't need to wear an uncomfortable temporary crown or come in for multiple visits.

Technology has even changed how we plan restoration treatments. Our office now uses CBCT scans and 3D imaging to map out your treatment plan to ensure better precision and accuracy. In addition, this technology allows us to diagnose and treat dental emergencies that require restorative care much faster. When patients come to us with lost fillings, cracked teeth, or severe dental pain, our office is often able to provide a same-day restoration that gets them back on their feet.

Don't Wait Weeks to Restore Your Smile

At Alliance Dental Care, we give our patients the ability to get dental restorations done without delay. Whether you're dealing with a serious dental emergency or you're just getting around to finally seeking a crown or implant, our mix of compassionate care and cutting-edge technology is perfect for your needs. Getting your smile back is easier than ever before! Book your appointment today.
